[Art Print] 2026 Nobyembre by Jethro Olba

The illustration shows a lively neighborhood in the early morning, around 7 to 8 a.m., a familiar rhythm of the city waking up.

It’s the everyday routine: grabbing hot pandesal or pan de coco from the nearest bakery while enjoying a good cup of coffee, catching the latest headlines, and watching live basketball games on TV before heading off to school or varsity practice. Nobyembre, marked on the cover is special – It's my birth month and it’s the start of basketball season, when mornings and even evenings are gamedays for fanatics.

What I love most in this scene are the little details, the small stores that always seem to pop up between houses, surrounded by plants and all sorts of random objects on display. They’re more than just shops; they’re gathering points where neighbors, students, and workers trade stories and laughter.

Looking at this scene takes me back to my own days as a student in Manila City, when moments like these felt like the perfect kickstart before everything else.
